ElectricalGood electrical work is what you never see
The best installations look simple because the hard parts are done right: correct cable sizes, proper protection, solid earthing and clean connections.
We design to your real load, use suitable materials and test everything before we hand over.
- Cable sizes chosen for current and voltage drop
- Protection devices that match each circuit
- Labelled boards and a clear handover
What our electrical team handles
From a single room to a whole building.
Wiring and rewiring
Concealed or surface wiring with correct cable sizes, neat routing and clear labelling for every circuit.
Distribution boards
Well arranged boards with separated circuits, labelled breakers and spare space to grow.
Circuit protection
MCBs, RCDs and surge protection that guard people and equipment from overload, leakage and surges.
Earthing and bonding
Earth electrodes and bonding that let faults clear safely and keep metal parts at a safe voltage.
Changeover systems
Manual or automatic switching between grid, generator and solar, so power changes over safely.
Testing and upgrades
Insulation, continuity and earth checks, heat checks on old boards and capacity upgrades.
Know your protection devices
Each device guards against a different risk. A safe board uses the right mix.
What each device does
Choosing the right device for each circuit is part of every design we do.
| Device | What it protects against | Where it is used |
|---|---|---|
| MCB (circuit breaker) | Overload and short circuit. It trips before cables overheat. | Lights, sockets, AC and other final circuits. |
| RCD / RCBO | Leakage current that can cause electric shock. It trips very fast. | Socket circuits, kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor points. |
| Surge protector (SPD) | Voltage spikes from grid switching or lightning. | Main boards, electronics, solar and ICT equipment. |
| Changeover / isolator | Unsafe switching between supplies, and back-feeding to the grid. | Generator, inverter and solar connections. |
Signs your installation needs attention
If you notice any of these, get it checked. Do not keep resetting or upsizing breakers.
Warm breakers or sockets
Heat means high resistance or overload at a connection.
Frequent tripping
The circuit may be overloaded, faulty or have an ageing breaker.
Burning smell or marks
Scorch marks or smells can be early signs of a serious fault.
Flickering lights
Loose connections or voltage problems are common causes.
Buzzing from the board
Loose or overloaded devices often hum before they fail.
Tingling from appliances
This can mean poor earthing and needs urgent attention.

Things people often ask
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
It may be overloaded, there may be a fault in the wiring or an appliance, or the breaker may be old. Repeated resetting or fitting a larger breaker is unsafe. Have the circuit inspected.
How do you choose the cable size?
We look at the load current, the cable length, the way it is installed and the allowed voltage drop. A cable that is too thin runs hot and wastes power.
Do I need an RCD?
An RCD is strongly recommended on socket circuits and wet areas. It cuts the supply in a fraction of a second if current leaks, which helps prevent electric shock.
Can you connect my generator safely?
Yes. We use a proper changeover so the generator and grid can never be connected together, which protects you and anyone working on the line.
Can you upgrade my old distribution board?
Yes. We replace old boards with labelled boards that have modern protection and space for future circuits.
